bypraba Civil Encyclopedia started from a simple frustration: too many reference books, too many scattered PDFs, and no single place where a practising Indian civil engineer could quickly look up an IS code clause, run a quick RCC check, or verify a thumb rule without leaving the browser.
Every page on this site is written with the working engineer in mind — the site engineer checking bar spacing on a slab, the design engineer verifying a column load, the student preparing for GATE or SSC JE. Content is cross-referenced against BIS publications and written in plain language without sacrificing technical accuracy.
The site is free, ad-light, and will remain so. No paywalls, no login walls — just reference material that works.
